On 7 November 2025, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Baku for a two-day official visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev, where he will attend the country’s Victory Day ceremony.
PM Shehbaz would undertake the visit to participate in events being held in connection with the fifth anniversary of Victory Day, which commemorates Azerbaijan’s triumph in liberating its territories from Armenian occupation.

The Victory Day is a public holiday in Azerbaijan
that is celebrated on 8 November, in commemoration of Azerbaijan's victory in
