The 57th Martyrdom Anniversary of Major Raja Aziz Bhatti Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, observed on 12 September 2022.
Maj Aziz Bhatti Shaheed was born in Hong Kong in 1928 and moved to Pakistan before independence in 1947, settling in Ladiyan village of district Gujrat.
In 1950, he joined Pakistan Army and was commissioned in Punjab Regiment.
On 12 September 1965 during Indo-Pak War he embraced Shahadat while fighting bravely at Burki Lahore.

Dr Pfau, who was hailed as the Mother Teresa of Pakistan, passed away on 10 August 2017 in Karachi.
