Explanation
Passage for Reading & Comprehension: We save money mainly to meet our future needs. Some needs are urgent. Some are not, some needs can be prioritized and some can be sacrificed for economy. Whatever the motive for saving, it is a good means to a useful end. Savings stand us in a good stead and save us from hardship in rainy days. But not all earning hands can save money easily. Owing to high cost of living it is hard for many earners to set aside some money for their future needs. In order to save some money, many work overtime. Many work part time after their regular daytime jobs. Most can only make both ends meet with sweat of their brows. Those who live below the poverty line can hardly have a square meal.
