The Year of Sadness Year of sorrow (عام الحزن) is the Hijri era when Prophet Hazrat Muhammad's wife Hazrat Khadija (RA) and her uncle and guardian Abu Talib (RA) died.
This year almost coincided with 619 AD, the tenth year since the first revelation of Muhammad.
Hazrat Khadija was the wife of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H).
Hazrat Abu Talib was the uncle of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h)
