The process of removing unwanted parts of an image is called cropping.
They involve trimming the outer edges or specific areas to improve focus, composition, or change the aspect ratio by eliminating distractions or extra space. While cropping cuts away parts, other methods, such as masking or cloning (inpainting), remove specific objects without altering the frame.
