Miqat (Ihram):
The first official act is entering the state of Ihram (sacred purity) at the Miqat, a boundary around Mecca, signifying the spiritual start.
Mecca (Tawaf):
Pilgrims then proceed to Mecca to perform the Tawaf al-Qudum (arrival circumambulation) around the Kaaba.
Mina (Day of Tarwiyah)
The primary Hajj sequence begins on the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah when pilgrims travel from Mecca to the tent city of Mina, spending the night in prayer and preparation for the Day of Arafat, which is considered the most crucial part of Hajj.
