Comparing the current ranking with the report published in 2018, Pakistan has declined from 148th spot to 153rd in just two years.
According to report “fragmented and siloed approach, lack of enabling telecommunication infrastructure and low affordability, digital skills gap, cyber security, data privacy and lack of trust, service design maturity and limited citizen participation”.
Pakistan was ranked 80th on the Global Food Security Index of 2020 out of 113 countries as it lagged behind almost all South Asian nations barring Bangladesh, and several African countries.

Pakistan moving 7 spots to 75th globally and 2nd in South Asia, according to the “Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2021,” report released by StartupBlink.
