ریل گاڑی کا یادگار سفر
تعارف
ریل گاڑی کا سفر ہمیشہ سے ہی دلچسپ اور پراسرار رہا ہے۔
میں نے بچپن سے ہی ٹرین کے سفر کو بہت پسند کیا ہے، لیکن گزشتہ سال کا میرا ایک
سفر واقعی یادگار تھا۔ یہ سفر میرے خاندان کے ساتھ کراچی سے لاہور تک تھا۔ اس سفر
نے مجھے نہ صرف نئے تجربات دیے بلکہ قدرت کے حسین نظاروں سے بھی روشناس کرایا۔
سفر کا آغاز
سفر کا دن آیا تو ہم سب بہت پرجوش تھے۔ ہم نے رات کی
ٹرین کا انتخاب کیا تھا، جو کراچی سے شام 8 بجے چلتی تھی۔ اسٹیشن پر پہنچتے ہی ہماری
آنکھیں چمک اٹھیں۔ ریل گاڑی کو دیکھتے ہی بچوں کی طرح خوشی سے چلّا اٹھا: "لو
جی، ٹرین آ گئی!" ہمارے سامان کو کوئے نے اٹھایا اور ہم اپنے برتھوں کی طرف
بڑھے۔ ٹرین کے ڈبے میں داخل ہوتے ہی ایک نئی دنیا کا احساس ہوا۔
ریل گاڑی کا اندرونی ماحول
ہمارا ڈبہ ائیر کنڈیشن تھا، اس لیے گرمی کا کوئی احساس
نہیں تھا۔ برتھوں پر بیٹھتے ہی میں نے کھڑکی سے باہر جھانکا۔ اسٹیشن پر لوگوں کی
بھیڑ، ریل کے عملے کی آوازیں، اور چائے والے کی "گرم گرم چائے!" کی
صدا... سب کچھ ایک منفرد سماں باندھ رہا تھا۔ ٹرین چلنے کے بعد ہم نے کھانا کھایا
اور گپ شپ میں مشغول ہو گئے۔ پاس کے ڈبے سے ایک بزرگ نے ہمیں کہانیاں سنائیں، جو
ان کے جوانی کے ریل کے سفر کی تھیں۔
راستے کے دلکش نظارے
صبح سویرے جب میں نے آنکھ کھولی تو ٹرین پنجاب کے سرسبز
کھیتوں سے گزر رہی تھی۔ کھڑکی سے باہر دیکھا تو فصلیں ہری بھری تھیں اور کسان اپنے
کام میں مصروف نظر آئے۔ کہیں بچے اسکول جاتے دکھائی دیے تو کہیں بیل گاڑیاں سست
روی سے چل رہی تھیں۔ دوپہر کے وقت ٹرین دریائے چناب کے پل سے گزری۔ نیلے پانی اور
آسمان کا میل انتہائی دلکش تھا۔ میں نے کئی تصویریں بھی بنائیں!
ایک انوکھا واقعہ
اس سفر کا سب سے مزیدار واقعہ تب پیش آیا جب ٹرین کسی
گاؤں کے اسٹیشن پر رکی۔ وہاں پر کچھ گاؤں والوں نے ہمیں گنے کا رس اور مکئی کے
بھنے ہوئے بھٹے پیش کیے۔ ان کی مہمان نوازی دیکھ کر دل خوش ہو گیا۔ اتنے میں ایک
بچہ اپنی بکری کو لے کر ٹرین کے سامنے کھڑا ہو گیا۔ ڈرائیور نے ہارن بجایا تو وہ
بھاگا، مگر اس کا ڈرپوک چہرہ ہنستے ہوئے بھی یاد رہ گیا۔
اختتام اور احساسات
لاہور اسٹیشن پر پہنچتے ہی ہمیں افسوس ہوا کہ سفر ختم ہو
گیا۔ یہ ٹرین کا سفر نہ صرف تفریح کا ذریعہ تھا بلکہ اس نے مجھے لوگوں کی سادہ
زندگی، قدرت کی خوبصورتی، اور اپنے ملک کی ثقافت سے قریب سے جوڑ دیا۔ آج بھی جب
میں اس سفر کو یاد کرتا ہوں تو مسکراہٹ چہرے پر آ جاتی ہے۔ ریل گاڑی صرف ایک سواری
نہیں، بلکہ یہ ایک ایسی کتاب ہے جس کے ہر صفحے پر ایک نیا سبق لکھا ہوتا ہے۔

My Country Essay: Pakistan
Introduction
Pakistan, my beloved country, is a land of rich history, vibrant culture, and
breathtaking landscapes. Located in South Asia, it was founded in 1947 as a
homeland for Muslims. Despite facing challenges, Pakistan is a nation of
resilient people who take pride in their heritage and unity.
Geography and Climate
Pakistan is situated between India, China, Afghanistan, and Iran. Its geography
is diverse, ranging from the snowy peaks of the Himalayas in the north to the
sunny beaches of Karachi in the south. The mighty Indus River flows through the
country, providing water for farming. The Thar Desert in Sindh and the green
valleys of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa add to its beauty.
The climate varies too. Northern
areas like Gilgit-Baltistan have cold winters, while cities like Lahore face
hot summers. Monsoon rains bring life to crops, making agriculture a key part
of Pakistan’s economy.
Cultural Heritage
Pakistan’s culture is a colorful mix of traditions. It is home to Punjabis,
Sindhis, Pashtuns, Baloch, and many smaller ethnic groups. Islam is the main
religion, but people of other faiths, like Hindus and Christians, also live
here peacefully.
Festivals like Eid, Basant (kite
festival), and Nowruz are celebrated with enthusiasm. Traditional dances like
the Attan (Pashtun dance) and music like Qawwali reflect the
country’s artistic soul. The national dress, shalwar kameez, is
worn by both men and women. Pakistani food, such as biryani, kebabs, and spicy
curries, is famous worldwide.
Historical Significance
Pakistan’s history is ancient and fascinating. The Indus Valley Civilization,
one of the world’s oldest, thrived here around 2500 BCE. Mohenjo-Daro and
Harappa are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Later, the region saw the rise of
empires like the Mughals, who built stunning monuments such as the Lahore Fort
and Badshahi Mosque.
In 1947, Pakistan gained
independence after a struggle led by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The
country was created to protect the rights of Muslims in South Asia. Today,
Pakistanis honor their history through national holidays like Independence Day
(14th August) and Defense Day (6th September).
Economy and Challenges
Agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy. Crops like wheat, cotton,
and rice are grown in fertile plains. The country also produces textiles,
sports goods, and handicrafts for export. Cities like Karachi and Lahore are
hubs of trade and industry.
However, Pakistan faces challenges.
Poverty, political instability, and climate change (like floods) affect
progress. Education and healthcare need improvement. Still, the youth of
Pakistan are hopeful. With over 60% of the population under 30, the country has
the potential to grow through technology and hard work.
Conclusion
Pakistan is more than just a country—it is a symbol of faith, unity, and
perseverance. From its historic sites to its lively festivals, it teaches us
the value of diversity. Though there are difficulties, the people of Pakistan
never lose hope. I am proud to call this nation my home, and I believe its future
will be bright if everyone works together for peace and development.
