| The first Charter of human rights is Khutba-hajj at-ul-Vida. .. Khutbah Hajjatul-Wida` is in fact the First Human Charter which was given by the Messenger of Allah (صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ وسلم) to the whole of mankind on February, 632 AD. The Hajj (pilgrimage) is known as 'Hajjatul Wida' or the Farewell Hajj. The Prophet of Allah (PBUH) delivered a historical speech (Khutbah) on the ninth of Dhul Hijjah (the 12th and last month of the lunar year) on Friday; 10 years after Hijrah in the Uranah Valley of mount Arafat during the farewell pilgrimage. |
