The UN Security Council (UNSC) held an urgent meeting on August 5, 2020 to review the situation arising out of the Aug 5, 2019, siege of Kashmir by India.
In February 2021, Germany declined the license to two firms planning the export of small arms to India due to the Indian army’s poor human rights record in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
