Explanation

 Surah Al-Tawba, there are eight categories of people (asnaf) who qualify to benefit from zakat funds.

Allah has clearly mentioned the masarif of zakat and sadaqah in Quran in these words:

اِنَّمَا الصَّدَقٰتُ لِلْفُقَرَآءِ وَالْمَسٰکِیْنِ وَالْعٰمِلِیْنَ عَلَیْھَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَۃِ قُلُوْبُھُمْ وَ فِی الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِیْنَ وَفِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰہِ وَابْنِ السَّبِیْلِ ؕ فَرِیْضَۃً مِّنَ اللّٰہِ ط وَاللّٰہُ عَلِیْمٌ حَکِیْمٌ۔

یہ سورت خواتین کے حقوق، وراثت، نکاح اور عدل و انصاف جیسے اہم موضوعات پر مشتمل ہے۔

Explanation

Surah Al-Qadr is the 97th chapter (surah) of the Holy Quran, with 5 verses (ayahs).

It is a Meccan surah, which celebrates the night when the first revelation of what would become the Quran was sent down.

Explanation

The verse instructs believers to listen quietly and attentively when the Holy Quran is being recited.

Doing so is a way to seek Allah’s mercy, showing respect and sincerity toward His words.
