On the occasion of International Women’s Day, first-ever National Gender Policy Framework was launched
Pakistan’s ranking on the Gender Inequality Index was 133 out of 160 countries.
The NGPF is targeted in six major areas:
- governance;
- equality and quality in education;
- employment and economic empowerment;
- political participation and meaningful engagement;
- safety and security;
- and, health and well-being.
